“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future” Jer. 29:11. On this special feast of Our Lady of Fatima I remember the scripture quoted above. Mary did not know that she was to give birth to Christ when she grew up, BUT God knew she was to do it. Most of us did not know where will their end be BUT God knew and knows what we will become. I did not know that one day I will be a priest and a missionary one BUT today I am. I know God knew and had plans that I become one.

My heart tells me that God is calling each one of us to be missionaries in our daily lives. This we can always do, not by preaching but by living the Gospel. Mary was called to be Mother not because she was better than anyone else, it was because of the Gospel values she had. These we also have and with the gifts God has given to us can be clearly seen. With this we can go around the whole world to preach the good news and save souls.

Please note that you are where you are not by chance but God’s choosing. His hand formed/ knitted you to be the who you are. He compares you with no one else, to Him you are one of a kind. Live like the one of the kind, be the Gospel itself among the people you are living with. Listen to what the prophet says, “Since you are precious and honored in my sight and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life” Is. 43:4. You are wonderfully made and special in God’s eyes, make your creator proud by living the Gospel. Be like Mary, Our Lady of Fatima, be exemplary to all the people and trust in God.

Cast all your burdens unto Him for He cares for you!!! Look at the things/ areas that you you need to let go, put all those to His hands as your creator and he will surprise  you. Know that He still makes the way like He did with the Israelite’s in the wilderness. May the good Lord bless us and give us the courage to do good.
